PostSubject: Piako's wet GP round   Tue May 31, 2016 1:58 pm

Well we thought that it could rain on the day.
it started out good and then before the first round was done we got a little shower so that was enough for Mike from Wanganui to call it quits, he was using a chair to shoot from and he enjoyed his shoot, but needs to be careful with his health and left before the heavy stuff arrived.

We had 25 targets shot twice as we were short on members to help out with setup, but we did manage to get more of those longer shots with targets placed out the other side of the trees and from some comments made on the day we had a good course setup to shoot.

We may even get a few more of those long shots ready for our next round for you all.

By the time we were finished I was soaked and so was the rifle, and everyone appreciated the hot soup and buns along with the hot sausages and onions which warmed up the insides quite nicely thanks.
Thanks go to Scott for being RO for the day and for doing the score cards which must have been uncomfortable in the back of the van trying to find something to sit on at least you were out of the rain, and thanks to the other helpers Brian and Jonny with Marshalling.

Also thanks for the help with the setting up and the take down, its much quicker and easier with extra hands and much more enjoyable even when you are wet through.

Looking forward to the next round.

The results for that round were posted in the club section under "PARPA". . That's where I got them from to update the leader board.

Ah, seems I'm a year out. I must have got them from somewhere, so, I'll have a look around must have got them from somewhere otherwise leader board wouldn't have been made up.

Right, have now got to the bottom of it.

The Results were sent to me by email from Carl Robinson in a table form which I am unable to copy and paste instead of being published in the forum. I copied the results directly to the leader board.

This seems to be the norm these days with little being published on the forum for the members.

Hi Dave

Seems the President is dead as is the assn, and as you say there is very little of much importance on here any more.

Where is the President when we need someone to get the assn going again
