PostSubject: GP 2016 Finals results held at NHAGC   Tue Feb 14, 2017 1:23 pm

Hi All

Here are teh results from rounds 9 and 10 held this last Sunday. We had 12 shooters on the day, however not all were entered into the GP shoots.

We put together a 50 target course, 13 lanes with 4 targets per lane except the last lane had 2 targets, which was shot twice for a total of 100 targets on the day. This was certainly taxing, especially for those of us with shooting jackets, when the temperature got up during the day.

We only had Ian and Rob D shooting springer and Ian only shot 1 round, so that made for little competition for Rob D on the day. Rob D also took the overall title with a perfect 6000 points for the series.

The PCP shoot was a much closer afair with 4 shooters tied on 42 after the first round of 50 targets. The second round caused things to spread out a bit as the breeze got up. I ended with a 45 (missed 4 standers Sad), and Natali a 43 and Carl a 41.

See below for a link to the PDF for the full results.

Also a big thanks to NHAGC members, Ian and Alex (for lending us targets) to get everything setup for an early start.

Regards

Rob

Found the results for this comp and the final positions on Rob Cawood's link but so far have failed to find who won what and what the prizes were or the breakdown/financial report of how $800 plus in funding was spent.

Does anyone have any idea ? Also, what is happening with this years GP Series which so far is a North/South affair. Will it finish this way, or is there a final and what finances have been raised and how will that be spent ?

Thanks,

DaveJ.

maybe this should have been sent via email to BOG rather than posted in here for the general public to see?

No idea mate, sorry. But then again i dont think the breakdown/financial reports have ever been posted on the public forums. they have always only ever been given out at the AGM. (I think)

OK, thanks Nunga, my reason for asking was so that our members can look and then, if necessary, put same on the AGM agenda. Not sure when the agenda closes or what is on it. Should be made known well before the AGM and added to if necessary. The Worlds are not far away and the AGM not long after everyone gets back. No worries, I'll find out.

2016 GP Series

The NZAFTA / GP Financial were indeed openly shared at the AGM last year. The Total amount last year was exactly $900. This was forwarded to Hennie so that he could purchase Hunting & Fishing Vouchers.

These were distributed to the Top 3 in each of the classes (Springer and PCP).

PCP
1st Rob Cawood - $200 Voucher
2nd Natali Terblanche - $150 Voucher
3rd Carl Robinson - $100 Voucher

Spring
1st Rob Dyer - $200 Voucher
2nd Brian Andrews - $150 Voucher
3rd Ian Ritchie - $100 Voucher

We'll keep discussions relating to the 2017 GP Finals in the Shooters Area section

Thank you Andrew.

For those who were not able to attend the AGM last year and also in respect to current

These were distributed to the Top 3 in each of the classes (Springer and PCP). Hennie definitely posted the results on the Forum and so why they are no longer there is very much a mystery!

PCP

3rd Carl Robinson - $100 Voucher

Spring
1st Rob Dyer - $200 Voucher

This years Financial Statement to date = $814.49 of which $760 belongs to GP (19 paid competitors x $40)

It is still being decided how this is going to be split as there are now 2 regions however, in the North, there are only 2 Springers.

Nationals / GP Finals
Piako have kindly offered to host these if nobody else can do it and at this stage, it is the closest ground we have available to represent travel required by South and most North competitors.

The decision of whether this means a 2 day Nationals held on one weekend and another 1 or 2 Day GP Finals on another weekend/month does need to be decided very soon. Please can we have everyone’s thoughts on when this is going to suit most (GP Competitors ONLY are required to give thoughts on when and where the GP Finals will be held)
